That’s why we were incredibly proud to sponsor Astrid Murphy and her team from Hunua Primary School as they travelled to Mexico to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge, alongside teams from around the world.
FIRST Tech Challenge - in Mexico
Representing Hunua Primary School and New Zealand on a global stage, the team finished 17th out of 29 teams — an outstanding achievement and an experience that went far beyond the final rankings.
For us, supporting Precise Variable was an easy decision.
Warehouse ID is built around solving problems, challenging the way things have always been done, and finding smarter ways to make the physical and digital worlds work together. Robotics asks young people to do exactly the same thing — think, design, test, adapt, collaborate and try again.
We love seeing young New Zealanders being given opportunities to develop those skills and, importantly, the confidence to take their ideas onto a global stage.
Technology will continue to change the way warehouses, manufacturing and supply chains operate. The people who will shape that future are already sitting in classrooms, building robots, testing ideas and discovering what they are capable of.
